Steve Jones – Sales Director
Steve heads up our sales activity. Prior to progression into sales Steve’s career started 40 years ago in re-upholstery and furniture design. His father owned an upholstery business before him and Steve has followed in his father’s footsteps, which is invaluable when assessing furniture for clients. Steve conducts most of our site surveys and prides himself on comprehensive product knowledge and ability to advise customers whatever their challenge in terms of usage, space, budget or ergonomic considerations. Steve will examine your existing furniture and advise on new, re-upholstery or our repair services.
Julian Fidler – Production Manager
Julian heads a team of skilled and conscientious upholsters and machinists. Our team is experienced in all aspects of re-upholstery, furniture design and manufacturing. Julian has over 25 years running our workshop from the very early days of when HSI was registered in 1991.
Our team can duplicate most manufactures designs and configuration. We produce items and covers to the highest standards. We restore wood products to their original colour through our French polishing department, were we use traditional and modern skills to revitalize all wood furniture.
John Prosser – Telesales Marketing
John re-joined HSI in 2010 with extensive experience in the furniture industry. John has a great understanding of customer needs and has developed long standing relationships with businesses, hotels, local authorities, healthcare and schools, who always appreciate his friendly pragmatic approach. John is often our customers first point of communication and his friendly discussion with customers is invaluable as a first contact.
Lesley Jones – Company Secretary
Lesley keeps the office on even keel, co-ordinating customer orders of new furniture, managing fabric and component orders for our manufacturing and re-upholstery workshop and making sure the office runs like clock work!
Vicky Cashell – Marketing Manager
Vicky looks after our websites and social media, liaising with our suppliers and ensuring we are always displaying the most current product ranges, new product innovations as well as all the essential office furniture at competitive prices.
