This bespoke horseshoe shaped sofa measuring almost 8.5 metres was a team effort and we’re very proud of the results. The frames were made in our Reading workshops by Matt while machinist Alison made up cushions and fitted frame covers. Our workshop manager Julian then upholstered the sofas using finest Crest leather in Old English Saddle, a beautiful tan real leather which would work well with a wide range of interior schemes. For an extra special luxurious feel we used feather & down cushions which were buttoned to enhance the design. Get in touch to discuss any bespoke seating requirements.

Our team of skilled upholsterers and machinists are based close to junction 11 of the M4 in Berkshire we provide a complete service with a rapid turnaround. Collection and delivery is usually free of charge and we’re generally in London 3 days a week providing quotations, collecting furniture or delivering beautifully reupholstered seating – which really does look like new!
In our Reading workshop we create headboards to any specification for hotels and private homes. Our headboards can be made to any shape or size with an unlimited range of finishes and fabrics. The deep buttoned headboard shown above was manufactured for an interior design client and upholstereed in Panaz Coco Zinc a beautiful super soft, stain resistant velvet.
We think these 2 new faux leather ranges from Skopos will prove very popular with our hotel clients due to the elegant characteristics of the textured finish and added benefit of a antimicrobial finish in a dazzling & luxurious colour palette.
Inspired by life within a tropical mangrove, one design takes inspiration from patterning seen on the skin of a reptile and the other echoes the arrangement of scales on a delicate seahorse. The 2 designs are intended to create a statement within contract interiors and add a luxurious, yet elegant choice for hospitality and leisure furniture.
We recently completed and installed 5 bespoke banquette units for one of London’s finest celebrity chef restaurants. Each banquette was made to measure and included 3 x 3m long benches and 2 corner units. We manufactured the frames from solid beech, the seats were fully sprung and we upholstered in luxurious Futura leather. Real leather radiates a high-class luxury feel which marries well with this top-class restaurant.
We installed these banquettes on Tuesday and diners were enjoying them that very evening.

Our traditional chair manufacturing methods give all our chairs an excellent solid construction which is at the core of superior manufacturing. All our chairs are designed and fit for the demands of hotel and restaurant use and carry a 10-year construction guarantee.
We can supply any chair size or style to meet any criteria, we are also happy to manufacture chairs to match existing furniture. We work with all leading contract/hospitality fabric manufacturers. Chair frames may be finished in your choice of colour including oak, ash, maple, mahogany and wenge. Any finish is possible from white to mahogany black to gold gilding.
All our chair frames are made with a solid beech construction or a hard wood of a similar density, these woods are harvested from sustainable wood sources.
The support in the chair can be designed specifically for your needs, with combinations of springs and webbing to give you the level of comfort and support you require. The infill is available in a range of options from traditional horsehair filling to CMHR fire rated foams, tailored to your needs. Introducing Alyson – the unsung hero of our upholstery workshop! Alyson is a very highly skilled and experienced machinist who using our range of specialist industrial sewing machines produces stunning results. Alyson began her career as a fabric machinist with Selfridges before specialising in furniture upholstery.
Here a couple of examples of today’s work, an armchair box cushion which Alyson piped to give an enhanced edge profile. In the second example Alyson has top stitched the cushion hems for a clean edge. Top stitching can be completed in a matching or contrasting thread depending on the desired results.
Alyson recently created this attractive new cover for a collection of hotel lounge chairs. Together with replacement foam and french polished legs the chair looks brand new.

We’re often asked to reupholster tub chairs, here are two examples which illustrate how a new fabric choice can update a tired interior. In this first example we gave a striking upgrade to tub chairs destined for a four star hotel in Windsor. We reupholstered in Lorca, Aradonis Weaves (Calina) a very smart textured semi plain fabric. A transformation from the classic deep pile red velvet that might now be considered a rather dated look.
In this second example we enhanced the design by reupholstering in faux leather with antique look brass stud work, perfect for the golf club bar where these chairs are returning to.
